About Us
Richhill Cycles was established in 1995, and is County Armagh's premier cycle retail outlet. The business is owned by two ex Irish International Road Racers, with a wealth of cycling experience. We specialise in Road Racing bikes and a wide range of clothing and accessories. We aim to encourage everyone to enjoy cycling as a hobby, a way of keeping fit and of course to help protect our environment. So if you want a bike for fun, as a alternative mode of travel or serious competitions we're here to help.
Keith Gallagher, one of the owners of Richhill Cycles, has a wealth of cycling knowledge and experience having been in the buisness for over 12 years. He is also the bike mechanic for the business having been mechanic for cycling Ulster teams and Nantes 44 team in France where he road for the team. Keith has paticipated in Road races in France, America, Belgium, Egypt and Spain at international level. He has rode the RAS five times with his best place being 4th in the stage and 17th overall. Currently, after having surgery on his knee, he is back in training for the up and coming season.
Noel Gallagher is the founder of the business, he set up Richhill Cycles after a long career in international racing. Riding the Tour of Britain three times in 1969, 1970,1971 and also the Commonwealth Games in 1970. With over 40 years experiance in the cycling world Noel is still very much in touch with bike racing and is Executive Member of Cyling Ulster and team manager for local teams.
Stephen Gallagher is a professional with Irish Sean Kelly team and has been riding professionally for the last four years, taking him all over the world. He rode in the last two Commonwealth Games, and currently holds Bronze in the Irish Time Trial Championships.

We would also like to add that if you buy a bike from us in store we always see you are fitted correctly and offer an excellent after sales service, if you have any problems later on down the line just pop in and we'll help sort it out.
When you are fitted for a racing bike it is vital to have this done properly by someone who knows as sitting overstretched can lead to back pain. If you feel the position for the bike we have fitted you for is not right after a few weeks pop in and we will re-fit you as this can often happen as the bike gets worn in.
For health and safety reasons we do not buy or sell any used bikes.
For your own safety please ensure your bike is fitted with lights in the winter months as it can be hard for motorists to see you in the dark.
